We had this group show up at the new outlet mall that's being built off 422. Problem was they put this stuff on the shoulder of 422 and risked an accident.

As for the reason - I get both sides of the story and actually feel a bit more for the business owners as I don't agree with most union stuff today as I think their belief system has been bastardized quite a bit and I find it annoying.

I hear ya! At their conception unions were a great thing and I think they still do have their place but there are some that I just hate - teachers unions for one. You've never lived until you live through union negotiations in THAT industry!

My mom used to teach for a public school and was in their union. Been there, done that. I don't think the teacher's unions are setting out to be troublesome, but they have a handful of obstinate people that make ridiculous demands. It's my personal opinion that the most talented brightest people should be recruited to be public school teachers and that these people be the best paid workers in the country. But that's me.

Non-union related: I was driving through our small town the other day and saw a single war protester. His sign read: End the War, so easy a caveman could do it. Which made me grin a little bit. Gotta love those Geico commercials, even though I have totally probably misspelled their name. *g*
