*sigh* *hug* That's big business, love. Nothing you can do but hope, and do your best, and flow with it. I've been through more re-orgs than I can tell you. After the initial adjustment... it's still a job.

Come out tonight, join in the silliness. Will make you feel better. :)

Thanks, dear. I'll be out tonight, I'm just not sure how long I'll stay out. Have a volunteer project in the morning. I know it'll be okay, but I just hate to see a friend leave.

It's never cool when a boss you like leaves. I've had 3 desert me over the years.

In some cases though it does turn out okay. Hang in there and see what shakes out. Sending good thoughts your way.

He's a friend. I'm hopeful we'll be able to maintain contact. I think it'll be okay in the end. I just hate to see him go.

Thanks for the good thoughts!

I don't know what re-org means, and I still don't really, but I am just going to agree, it sucks.

It means "re-organization." It's when the current structure within a company gets revamped. Usually who reports to whom changes, departments might change name and function, etc, and it can be quite the upheaval if handled poorly.

Sorry, hon. I hope you get through the pain and mess okay. Re-orgs are never nice, clean and neat.
