Random bits and pieces

I put my premiere schendule on my Google calendar and holy crap! It makes me look seriously busy. I only have one viewing conflict so far I think, between The Unit and Reaper. Mmm... Max. Yay devil humor and hunting down escaped souls! You see my conflict here. Otherwise, my schedule is pretty open. Though I'm looking for recs for Monday night. I ( Read more... )

A query: I wonder if Kripke pays them extra for boytouching?

Plus: you always come to the best conclusions, darling.

If Kring doesn't HE SHOULD. Because boy touching. YES.

Ooops! I must've had Jensen on the brain. :) of course it's Kring with Adrian and Milo on the payroll.

Boy touching is the equivalent of a food group for lovely things that make me happy--like: the fourfive Happy Groups: Friends, Writing, Media, Perfume, and Boy Touching.

I hear "Chuck" is getting some good press. Scheduled Monday before Heroes. Matt Gilbert, our Boston TV guy (who I love, and he was huge TXF phile) says this in his fall preview:

Monday
'Chuck'
(NBC, Sept. 24, 8 p.m.)
Grade: A-

Starring: Zachary Levi, Adam Baldwin
They Say: Nebbishy Chuck fixes computers at a Buy More megastore. After accidentally downloading government secrets into his brain, he gets swept up in CIA and NSA action.
We Say: Of the many nerd-fests this season, this one's the best by far. Levi makes a charming lead, and he's backed up by colorful secondary characters. From Josh Schwartz of ``The O.C." and McG of ``Charlie's Angels," it's as dork-savvy as the former and as action-witty as the latter.
Also Known As: ``Johnny Neb-monic"
The Outlook: Could easily be a solid hit for the needy NBC, and form a popular block with ``Heroes."

They have a clip on the page here: http://www.boston.com/ae/tv/fall_preview/2007/falltv2007/

I have heard lots of good buzz about this one, G. I predict it's going to be big hit.

And how cute is Matt Gilbert? Still a flailing fanboy, after all these years. LOL.

Yay devil humor and hunting down escaped souls!

Yay Brimstone!

Oh wait, they *canceled* that one.

There truly is nothing new on TV under the sun.

Regardless, do you have a recommendation for sources for premiere dates? IOLSAI is in serious TV withdrawal so I figure it's time to get a calendar going for us as well. (Us being 6K miles apart doesn't stop us from watching TV together.)

Hands! Milo and Adrian *write* their own RPS. We just watch shaking our heads and wondering WTF Natalie must be thinking about all this extramarital boytouching (and work-related boykissing). ;-)

Finally...

Jensen is the *only* conclusion! Hehehe

I used The Futon Critic for my calendar. They have a whole useful grid up there.

Milo/Adrian FTW!

And Jensen is the BEST of conclusions. ;)

Cool! Thanks! And soon a new Deathwatch! Yay! (Yeah, so I'm cynical about TV. Hazards of the profession. /shrugs/)
