Another day at the plot
Jana finally got her carrot bed going, yay!
I put up a trellis with hot pink florescent nylon string. No doubt, Jana's choice. Anyway, it's for peas in the spring and fall, and beans in the summer. At least, that's the current thinking.

Trying to sleep
I currently have slight anxiety over how tomorrow will unfold. Even though we spent a good amount of the day prepping for tomorrow.

First Orchid Bloom!
Finally, after killing so many orchids, I finally got one to bloom. Phalaenopsis. Ironically, another phalaenopsis died at the same time this one was budding up. The one that died was from Home Depot post-bloom sale, December 2007. This one happened to be part of a birthday gift from Michael and Jana in 2008.

Long, long week.
So Michael was sick with a fever for 4.5 days. Jana was sick twice (different symptoms) for a total of 2.5 days over a 5 day span. I was sick for 1 day and twisted my knee ( Read more... ) -

4:27 and I'm up. I'm feeling a tad sore and achey with a bad headache. Remnants of being sick. Plus, Jana had a pretty bad nose bleed around 3am which took a bit to control ( Read more... ) -
Invitation to PreK/K!
Jana is in PreSchool I this year. Her class track is then to proceed to PreSchool II then PreK/K. Some of us were notified last week that our children have the opportunity to go PreK/K next fall instead of PreSchool II. The parents meeting was yesterday ( Read more... ) -
