Why, that irony tastes delicious!
So I jokingly (well... maybe half jokingly) told my dad that I didn't want to go to College Park because my goal for college is to get far, far away from my crazy family...... and now he's not speaking to me. Like actually refuses to talk to me anymore. Distressing, yes, but I honestly couldn't have made a better case for that argument myself. -

I got into Boston College! And you know what that means??? I'm going to a college that's NOT IN MARYLAND!
EDIT And Boston University. With a half tuition scholarship. Today= amazing. -
So, how emo am I?
Just finished The Blind Assassin (Which was amazing) and I haven't this upset by a novel since I heaved Ian McEwan's Atonement across the room. Starting on the Brother's Karamazov next, or maybe The Midnight Disease which is about the psychology of writing. I really ought to find something that won't depress the living daylights out of me. I Want to thank everyone who made today amazing. I don't have words for it. I had no clue. absoltely none. I saw the table sitting there with a pile of presents on it and i thought hmmm, that's strange and then I turned and i saw all of you . best birthday ever. I feel loved. -

Today I slept 12 hours (midnight to noon) and then took a 4 hour nap (130-530). This is not supposed to be happening. -
Maybe it's the time of year or maybe it's the time of man..
It's just some terrible isolation peering over me. What I really want is some intimacy, and that's what I'm most afraid of. The right words for it are just leaving my fingers now.
