ok sooo
i have to have to have to
make a picture update.
especially since i had a phenomenally
beautiful good friday.
so here we go...
seriously, you should check it out.
there's something in there about a squirrel.
a baby one.

so if you haven't heard the story of fernando..
let me tell you.
well, let me start out by telling you that i went on a little trip with my bro and some church friends to lake texoma.
word. SO THEN. after swimming and such we came back to the campsite whereupon i encountered a baby squirrel crying [at least i think it was crying] on this tree. in the boldness of my folly i reached my hand out to it. yeah. who knows. and then it followed my hand when i moved it down. then, i started to walk away and the poor baby, which i later named fernando [if you want to be real about it, you would say perrrnando], followed me :) so i picked him up and cradled him in my towel and we fed him some potato chips. he enjoyed that. he was my first pet...

too bad...the others told me to put him back up in the tree before i left. he didn't want to. i know it. but i had to leave him. and i am so sad. BUT good news...this other guy from my church took him home this morning cuz he stayed the night. i'm jealous. it's ok though.
