I talked to a recruiter from the Navy today at the college fair. If I can do something similar to what Sir Mindington is doing with the AF, then I'm totally going to be in the Navy. They have an amazing linguistics program and will teach you the languages and everything. The recruitment office is on the same road as Smyra's Theatre, so I will ( Read more... )

my dad said you can do the exact same thing in the AF, that linguistics school you were talking about-they send all branches of the military to it. i'm telling you-you could do the exact same thing. he also said that if you did navy you'd prolly have to do some ship duty which would not be fun.the air force is really the branch that treats women best-i'm serious. but if your heart is really set on nrotc you can still go to fsu, they have a program where you just go to the nearest college that has nrotc on the days that you need to.

Yeah, I was thinking that I might just be able to participate in FAMU's NROTC. But I'll look into both options. This is kinda exciting!
