I do not like going to court. Though, I am thankful that I'm going there under current circumstances rather than are more "forced." I find the technicalities and strategies of the cases interesting and I'm amazed by the intricate paperwork that everything requires, but it's also a depressing reminder of the gritty reality that we live in. Did you hear about the woman who is suing her florist for $400,000 because the flowers for her wedding were the wrong shade? Not even the wrong color the wrong tone. She also claims the arrangements were "dusty." Big whop, obviously she doesn't live in Arizona. The kicker is that she dropped $27,000 for these beautiful buds. Well, I finished the final "Harry Potter" book, a few months after everyone else and over six years after I read the first book. It's funny to be done, as there are few literary or television characters that I've stuck with for that many years. I did it. I just "archived" all my journal entries up until the start of the semester. Pasted into word, with just the entries and the dates, it's 227 pages. Wow! That's about a book. My first entry was in Nov. 1, 2003, talking about a "very special Halloween episode." I'm now coming up on four years of livejournaling, and whether that's an ( Read more... )
