I re-love Bryn Terfel lately. Major swoon-age. I wish I had $10+ to buy/download a whole CD of him, but I only have 3 songs... 2 I must've gotten with Limewire like a year ago, and then I got him singing If Ever I Would Leave You off ITunes the other day. The other two songs are La Ci Darem La Mano from Don Giovanni and Papagena from The Magic ( Read more... )

Hmm, maybe if I have spare moneys in May, I'll get us tickets to see Die Walküre at the theatre. We do live broadcasts of the Met and Bryn Terfel is in that one, playing Wotan. I would love to see that one...

Yay for puzzles!

And yes, I agree. ♥

OH YES! We must do that. I can buy my ticket, are they just regular movie price?

I looked it up on the Met's website, and see the nights it's playing--the first two Mondays and the first Thursday, so it doesn't matter which of those days the theatre will play it. They're all 6:30-11:40 (holy crap, I go to bed at like 9, so that will be interesting). Huzzah, we are going to go see it.

Actually, you have to look up Live at the Met, the NCM thing we do. They do a Saturday morning one and then like a Monday or Wednesday evening encore a couple weeks later. And tickets are like $18 since it's a special thing. May 14th is the Saturday show, and that will be a live broadcast, not a recording. It would be so awesome to go. I really want to see this one.

I had to Google all of that. So the answer then is no, never tried it. I'm kind of confused what this has to do with my post? :)

Because you can't use Limewire anymore-or rather you really really shouldn't. I'm not sure you can anymore. But, if you're only downloading with a p2p program like bit torrent then it should be okay. You said in your post that you wanted music from Bryn Terfel. This is a way! Kostenlos!
