So there was a Raytones show today, and because Ray's spiffy white suit was all neatly hung up, I foolishly assumed that his belly padding was bundled with it. Nope, it wasn't, as I discovered when I went to pack up for the show. Frantic searching ensued, and I finally settled for using one of Violet's hip pads as a substitute. As it turns out,

What/who are the Raytones? Rudy Ray Moore's old band?? I'm trying to imagine you in a mascot-Rudy Ray Moore costume and it's not working.

The Raytones (http://www.raytones.com) are a kid-oriented band, and Ray the Rhino is their awesome rhino mascot. Now you've got me thinking of dressing Ray up as Disco Godfather...
