I KNOW. It's getting really good, and I think what I love most is that it balances "real life" with the Skynet stuff enough that it feels real. (Plus the actors at least look like they've trained with the guns. On some shows, the actors hold guns like dead fish or something.)
And in that future, John Connor sent Catherine Weaver back to build a different kind of Skynet--the kind that has morals and values human life.
I... totally never thought of that, but it's a theory that definitely makes me rethink some of the stuff that's gone down.
As I've said before, I was sad when Dekker left Heroes because I liked his character. But watching SCC, I'm cool with it now.
Wish I could be as enthusiastic as you are about the show, but for me it's very hit or miss (and often self-indulgent with some seriously screwed-up logic). My biggest problem with it, however, is that the title character is the weakest of the bunch. I miss the Sarah Connor of T2. If only it were the John and Cameron show (with occasional appearances by Derek). Now that would be awesome.
And I guess I shouldn't tell you that the tides are turning against its being renewed for next season.
