Now that the Big Reveal has gone up, I have found out that my gift, To Catch a Thief, was written by the talented talesofsnape. (I don't know her personally, but we have several mutual friends, and I have always enjoyed her work.) It is a truly delightful little story, and I'll definitely be going back to read it again

Would I be correct to say that you're your own toughest critic?

You would. It can be a problem at times, but for the most part, it serves me well. With this story, for example, it's given me several ideas for improvement; I think the ending was a bit rushed, and there are places in the story that I think would probably benefit from a few minor changes, most of which involve the addition of small details for colour and feel, so to speak.
