so i walk into this art class. the first one i've taken since elementary school. and the room is pretty dark, there's a circle of drawing benches, and in the middle of the circle there's a white pedestal with a cardboard box on it, illuminated by a spotlight. oh golly, we have to draw that. i'm gonna make a fool out of myself. where do i start? can ( Read more... )

Hey Sweets! That's a pretty impressive box. I'm really glad you're having the opportunity to explore your artistic talent. Hey, buy the way - is that picture in your last post real - and how large is that ravine? Questions a mom probably doesn't really need to know the answer to, but needs to ask!!

P.S. I take it you got your computer fixed?

thanks mom! thanks for always encouraging me. and, the ravine wasnt too big, the guy who took the pic was standing down in it. no worries :)

beautiful. i love your use of line. the box looks alive....that's part of the beauty of art-giving life to ordinary objects....
