I want to be swept off my feet. Is it too much to ask or is there some sort of social rule that says it is the one who has the penis's job to do the wooing. It would be nice to make her work for it and only put out if she buys me dinner.

Instead of me just paying for dinner as a gesture of wooing, I have bought a gift certificate for a restaurant I know we will go to and give it to him in a card or something. That way he still gets to feel like a man paying for dinner, but I have "chipped in" and let him know I wasn't just along for the free food.
