Alrighty, so I realize that Live Journal isn't the "cool" thing to do anymore...I should be blogging on myspace or be more up-to-date with my facebook page, I dunno. So I decided that I needed to start updating again. Why? (1) I've been getting the urge to do too much hw lately when I have nothing else to do, and we can't have that. So holy smokes it's been awhile! My semester was quite busy and even if it wasn't I was muy distracted. I came out of it being half-in-love with my monarchist professor, in a purely platonic way, and actually feeling like I understand Spanish (and I can say hypothetical things!!). Alright, so the past few days have been slightly traumatic. Basically I'm having an existentialist crisis as Ricky would call it. So guess what I did???? I went running! Granted, it wasn't completely Rocky-esque, not very far, but nonetheless I went and I made it, and as much suffering as it caused me, I feel good now. WORK. work is fun? No it isn't. Do I particularly enjoy my job? Actually, sometimes i do. I like working with the clothes (as ugly as they may be sometimes) and making them look pretty in the store. As shallow and dumb as it sounds I like thinking up creative ways to put the clothes on the mannequins or display them to make them nice and look ( Read more... )

It's been awhile. Summer has been pretty uneventful. Many things have happened and not happened and time trudges on. I've been working a lot, probably not as much as it seems to me, but still, quite a good amount. My money, however, still seems to disappear (the plight of us all, eh?).
