I think that's a perfectly normal response...Being a physical animal, we don't like to admit our own mortality...and being a human spirit, connected to all the other ones whether we like to admit it or not, we don't like to see things like that happen to others. Everyone in their right mind (i.e., not possessed, etc.) has some level of conscious/subconscious empathy.

I dont' know you Katie, but I'm prayin for your grandfather also :) -Kim
