The Westbro Baptist Church is that group that protests at the funerals of American soliders with signs saying "God Hates America" and "God Hates Fags" and sees the death of soldiers as divine retribution for America's tolerance of homosexuality and regligious pluralism.

Apparently they're planning a similar protest at the funeral of the Tucson

They were intending to picket the funeral of the 9 year old girl who died from the shooting, which is why the legislation was rushed through. That funeral was today.

There was no protest.
