Oh, man, BSG: Season 5 in RDM et al's hands would have been a nightmare, even if everyone had lived through season 4. Just more Gaius Baltar improbably being a new kind of cult sensation and the pretense that any of us are particularly invested in Hera.
Although it couldn't have been more of a nightmare than season 4, and don't get me wrong, I'd definitely have watched every second of it avidly. Which is why we're all here on lj, I guess.
I admit that I do agonize over the dialogue--it annoys me when I see errors or unsmooth-sounding lines, 'cause I swear I've read everything fifteen times by the time I post it (perfectionism + fan fic = slow going). And I still mess it up, sometimes. \
Anyway, I'm taking all this as strong wind blowing me toward the next chapter, which is turning out to be extraordinarily difficult to write. So really (really!), thank you for posting this!
Won't be six months! May be another week or two before I get it up and going--the next chapters are underway, but I'm having a rough time working out one or two plot points. (Also: my stupid job and friends keep getting in the way, UGH.)
Sometimes I wish I had some kind of BSG knitting circle/kaffeeklatsch, here in town. Also that I were better at knitting.
I'm so glad to hear the next chapter is just around the corner. I've been waiting anxiously for it. I have taken the time to read the whole thing again because I had somehow skipped some parts before and I'm even more in love with it than before. I'm not only curious about the Kara/Lee angle (although I'm dying to know how that will develop), but also about Helo and Sharon, the deal with the horn and Daniel and Leoben and everything else. I'll be counting the days. I'm sure you will find great solutions to whatever it is that has been troubling you. I have total faith both the development of the plot and the quality of the writing will continue to amaze us. :)

And Lee? Gods he is always screwed. Can't wait to find out where Kara, Leoben and Daniel went. Is Daniel Sam's brother?
