I realized I never commented on this story, which is tragic because it is one of my absolute favorites in this fandom ever. I have read it probably a dozen times and each time I find something new to love about it. The nuances of this relationship, how very Kara and Lee they are as they navigate this thing with Kara daring Lee to ask for more and Lee trying to give her what she wants even though what she wants will make her run if he brings any of it up first is such a fascinating thing to watch. They are such a perfect match here, testing each other and baiting each other and then finally finding common ground together- I am such a sucker for it.

The sex is smoking hot, and I think Kara's confession of love is my favorite part of the story. She's so genuine and open for once, it feels like the whole story breathes a sigh of relief after she says it. They've closed one chapter and moved on to the next, and it's beautiful. Well done.

Thank you much! I loved writing this one, it felt satisfying to actually write a complete arc that could be read in a sitting. *I'm* a sucker for happy endings, and Kara and Lee help me out by being too complicated for those to be saccharine. Working on a similar one--I hope you'll let me know how it goes!

Wow. This is actually so good. Someone actually just linked this to me since she told me that she read a smut fic with my name- yeah, it's Kara. LOL And I didn't thought I would read this too, but look I'm commenting! XD

So it was actually good- but I'd prefer the smut part be more detailed perhaps? No. I'm not saying it in a YOU KNOW way but yeah. Also, since I don't know the characters, or where they're from- I didn't get some parts. (^^;)

I really, really love this - it's so very pilots, in the best way possible, of course Kara's issues and Lee's worry would never let this be schmoopy or saccharine like it would be if it was about any other couple. And I love that she's all cagey and he's just so needy and the way they work through it just makes me want to squee in joy because god knows those kids NEED at least the beginnings of a happy ending.

(and um, I love the smut. LOVE IT.)
