So if you haven't heard, I saw Bill Clinton speak on Thursday. Which, I know, makes me officially awesome. Or something. [BethAnn was there, too, so she's just as awesome. But I was the one who keyed her into it, so I'm basking in my own credit, haha

I got the E-mail about it as I was literally out the door for my law review banquet. I knew this would sell out fast and (maybe partially because BethAnn had been with me to the Kevorkian event which was by the same group) I tried to think of the person most likely to be able to go and would most likely pick up the phone. Otherwise, I just would've blasted a bunch of people and said "SIGN UP!" Which is usually the best way to do things.

My parents both responded the same way ... "wow, you got to talk to him?" Which made me sad to burst their bubble. because I thought the whole experience was a pretty awesome thing to say I did not to have to be brought down a notch. Oh well. At least they didn't blast my writing for being to partisan or cheerleadery.

Haha, I thought you were freaking out about a credit card or electric bill when I first saw this! Glad it was quite the opposite :)
