I was sort of peeled apart recently by a poem a friend posted, so it seems fitting to share one I love in turn.  Thanks to my very old friend Mirit for sharing it with me.  And by very old I mean we've known each other since we were six.  Mirit herself is only 23.  Which, let's face it, when you're like ten, that seems old.
