today, for the first time i am really truly proud to be an american. I wake up today under the wing of barack obama and i have never felt safer. i have never felt more secure in the idea that we, America, can do anything. that we, America, can fight and be reborn as a place of liberty and of self-respect

i can't believe it either. i stayed up most of the night hoping to see it change. i'm furious. it made last night very bittersweet.

it just goes to show you that california is not as liberal as we all think it is. fucking hillbillies is all i have to say. we have now set a terrible precedent for other states to pass similar laws and write this type of law into their constitutions. simply abhorrent.
