Ten Things
stmargarets tagged me for this, so here goes. Ten little known facts about me.
1. I never say "ya'll", despite the fact that I've lived in Texas all my life.
2. I can't swim. Seriously, I can't.
3. I've said before that I don't write fanfiction, but that's not really true. I actually do write it, sometimes. I never post it though, because I'm too shy, and because, well, because it's really awful.
4. Long before I read HP, I started knitting sweaters, scarves, gloves, etc for every member of my family, at least once a year. That's one of the reasons I like Molly Weasley so much. :)
5. I ship Ron/Cho. (That was a little known fact until I came out of the closet a few days ago!)
6. I volunteer at the Historical Village of Dallas. I do curatorial work there, which is a fancy way of saying I dust and clean the artifacts. But I love it.
7. I have a ginormous crush on Jon Stewart.
8. My great-grandfather, great-great-grandfather, and great-great-great-grandfather were all Texas Rangers. My great-great-grandfather's portrait hangs in the Texas Rangers Hall of Fame Museum in Kilgore, Texas. (That's not a fact I'm necessarily proud of, because I don't care for a lot of things the Rangers did, but it's still a little known fact about me. *shrug*)
9. Seattle is my favorite place in the world.
10. I love love LOVE to dance. And I'm actually very good at it. *gasp*
