I would sympathize, but I'm not even allowed to give blood in the first place.

That makes me a Righteously Indignant Panda.

that's so stupid. it makes me very upset to know that such. . . discrimination . . . is still allowed. i mean, basically, blood services looks at gay men (not women!) and says "you're not good enough to save lives. sorry"

it's infuriating, especially since they test every individual sample that they collect. why can't donations be based on those tests alone and not on some ancient prejudice that all gay men have HIV. it sickens me.

i would glady take your blood. because i am a vampire. but also to save my life, too.

:)

I just try not to think about it. Hema-Quebec has actually banned blood drives at McGill because of a huge protest over this issue last year. Queer McGill is a very militant organization, sometimes.

Don't be so quick to accept my blood though. I have no idea what my blood type is. It might kill you in a horribly painful manner. :P

I would go with the teddy and slippers. From that point on you will be the fun teacher. Thats what I would do anyway, but I am a child, so ya know.

miss you lots and lots!!!

Teddy bear and slippers, most definitely! I don't think such antics would have ever made me lose any respect for a teacher, when I was young. I'm pretty sure I'd just think she was that much cooler, and admire her that much more!
