let's just say someone is on trial. and in his/her defense testimony, s/he says that such and such did not happen and so and so is a liar and that s/he has no idea how such and such happened. And just say that it turns out that his/her statements are not true and that he was involved and was lying on the stand, other than a guilty verdict that ( Read more... )

Yeap.

Depends on what the judge says happened and how he found the facts. Normally you wouldn't be charged.
