Beautiful pictures! I've only been using the premade vacation spots (too lazy to customize them) and Im jealous how gorgeous your vacation lots look xP

Aww, thank you! I have to agree that the original EA/Maxis vacation 'hoods are quite boring. I never feel like sending my Sims to vacations because of that.

Penny, do you have the clean neighbourhood templates installed? Which are you using for the BV 'hoods?
I want a clean game, but I do prefer to have working holiday destinations. With locals to teach gestures and all that. I'm determined to do it right this time :)

Yes, I do have those :) But not for BV because I had the cleaned template for it last time and it's creepy when the vacation 'hoods are all empty :/ Of course I could have made the locals and tourists myself but that would have been too much work.

Yes, exactly :) I'd like to have my Sims go on holiday and actually meet some others. However I'm not big on the stealth families like the Travellers, or a truckload of tourists, so they'd have to go..
I'm following Pooklet's tutorial right now, but I don't really know what to do with BV. There are several parts to it: A001, M001, T001 and V001. A, M and T would correspond to Asian/Mountain/Tropical and I think they hold the locals and special NPCs, and the V001 has the Vacationers I think?
So you don't have any of those BV templates? :) Good to know; thanks for the speedy reply ♥ I think I'm going to poke around in SimPE a bit more to see what I'll keep :)

I like my Sims happy, so their lives are usually quite peaceful :) Sometimes I'd like to have a little bit more drama but my boring gameplay style prevents everything interesting from happening :D
