so apparently I'm a college student now

Two questions:

1. how is frensship formed

and 2. What the fuck would cause an apparently healthy seventeen-year-old to black out and collapse in the middle of a school bookstore tour?

bonus: Does this mean I have to start eating breakfast?

still hate college

1. NO IDEA. I have been asking myself this question for years.

2. ... Anaemia? Maybe? And eating breakfast might be a very good idea.

1. I'll tell you if I ever figure it out, all right? (ffff, like that's going to happen)

2. I think anemia's (lol American) a definite possibility--my mom's been convinced I have it for at least a year, so I'm going to go get that checked out. And wake up early enough for breakfast, sob.

1. A very good question ! Please let us know when you have some answer. (Throw a very bad joke mocking a teacher and laugh with them when they laugh at the ridicule of it. You talk a lot more freely with people once you've laughed with them. And don't forget that bitching about something else is a very bonding experience !)

2. Stress ? Fatigue ? A too light dinner the night before coupled with a lack of breakfast ?

1. I love bitching with people! (What that says about me I don't know.) I'll see what I can do, and in the unlikely event I figure anything out I will tell you.

2. It could conceivably be...all of those, orz.

1. Laugh and make jokes?

2. Oh no penty! *huggles* maybe you were just stressed out too much.

1. I suppose that's the best route--I just get so nervous around people I don't already know that I'm not very funny. BUT I will trust in my natural winning personality!

...on second thought, maybe I shouldn't do that.

2. Yeah, stress is probably a big part, and maybe that's why it just started now? since I really haven't done anything all summer.

I...have no idea how treehouse is formed either, unfortunately. I'm fucked, aren't I?

sobbbbb I don't need any more excuses to go pig out on school food that DOESN'T SUCK, hello freshman fifteen I have the feeling that we will get along splendidly

1. Talk to people who seem like they might have something in common with you. Trial. Error. More trial. ???? Profit. Friendship.

Bonus: eating breakfast is seriously the most important thing you can do for yourself at school. Early to bed, early to rise kept me sane during my first semester.

1. mmf, it's so nice and linear when I think about it, but there are people out there and that makes everything all weird.

Trial it is, then!

Bonus: Right, I'm gonna do that breakfast thing for the first thing in years. It's kind of exciting; I like toast. The "early to bed" bit...well, look at when I'm posting this, orz.

Oh, crap, I tl;dred on you again. artillie August 17 2009, 15:45:16 UTC
People are just people! They shouldn't make you nervous!

You just gotta work yourself back to a sane bedtime, is all. And the sleep thing is especially important for the first few weeks.

Toast is delicious. And I don't want to suddenly! Threadjack! But the freshman fifteen can be solved by not keeping a lot of food in your room. I stole apples and oranges from the dining hall, and had maybe a box of cereal around--good cereal--but that's it, really. I also limited myself to one helping in the dining hall, but that's because of my manry discipline. *ended up losing weight first semester*
