I stood at the start line. The finish line just 100 meters ahead. I braced myself.

"On your marks!"

I tensed, and looked at my bare feet.

"Get set!"

My feet angled outward.

*cue Stayin' Alive*

I skated forth on my feet, busting some funky moves in the final race in the olympic 100m disco barefoot blading competition.

My dreams are awesome.
