You are not going to like what I'm going to say, but the truth is that when you like or love someone, there's nothing you can actively do to make it go away.
If the love isn't corresponded and nurtured, it will die faster, yes, but there's nothing you can do, really.
Just wait, let it be, don't try to force it out of your system, because by doing so, you are feeding it, if you go on with your life, acknowledging it but not really acting on it, eventually, it will go away.
