Writing

I just wrote my first "real" essay for college, and it's been a long ass time since I've written anything remotely academic in formal paper format. It's kind of relieving in a sense, because I don't have to think about the realities of life, my life in particular. Leslie, I feel kind of bad because I'm always lurking your journal and keeping up with your life but we haven't talked for so long!

And I kind of like writing essays for school. Which I guess makes me weird.

Ah dude, no worries. I'm always snooping on people I don't even know via myspace, hahaha.

At least writing essays isn't that weird. My grandma (who's only 58) used to do calculus problems to "get away" when she was stressed out. I'd much rather write essays. Language and writing feels more intuitively creative, which is what I like. I just wish I had more time to do things like that.
