District 150 is determined to kill Peoria

I have yet to comment in my journal about the idiocy of District 150 in Peoria. For anyone who's not aware, they're thinking of closing one of the high school's and it's likely to be either Woodruff or Central which is downright stupid. This article explains the situation a little and offers an argument to close Manual instead

EP High School is also in the process of being restructured. They have failed to meet adequate yearly progress on state and nationwide testing for the last four years. Letters went out to parents last week supposedly stating the options available to the school which included temporarily closing it and restaffing.

dad told me that the Schoolboard voted last nite 4-3 to shut down Woodruff.. so at least the Armstrong area isn't immediately getting flushed down the toilet...
p.s. I could use that desk now, whenever you can bring it over, I'm moved in downstairs, finally!! that plus we've not spoken since before my LV trip..

Dang, dawg! how bad do you need it? I am psycho busy for the next 2 weeks and probably cant hang out at all. I have 2 tests and 2 big projects coming up along with getting swamped at work. I wanna hear about the show. Did you get your computer working?
