I wouldn't worry about lj cut, contract negotiations aren't really spoilers :)

And considering how badly MR has been used this year, I'd actually prefer him signing for say 13-16 episodes, if that meant they would then use his character decently. It depends how many episodes they get him for though, it's got to be 13 minimum to keep me happy

I just can't imagine this show without him, so I definitely hope they'll make his guest appearances count. I know I'll miss seeing MR every week. :(

You know it's sad that MR isn't coming back for next season, but given the way his character's been treated I can't blame him. Maybe he'll come back for a long arc and then leave?

I think that's highly probably. And I hope that it does the character justice.
