History has been made

Last night, history was made. To quote Obama, "Change has come to America."

This was my first election to vote in (I'm 18). I will never forget it. Even though my state's electorial votes went to John McCain, I helped Obama with the Popular Vote, and that's all I can ask for. I have never felt more proud to be an American, to be an African-American ( Read more... )

Congratulations on your first time voting!

I'm 20 and it's my first time as well. I will never forget this. We are officially a part of history and I'm so proud right now.

I love this quote so much.

I cried three times last night for my own self-realization that came with Obama's win, and for how proud our Civil Rights leaders of the past would be.
