Of distinction and contribution

Once every few months, I receive a magazine from my undergraduate college, Downing. It usually contains pictures of the neo-classical style buildings for which the college is unique amongst the rest. I have not quite figured out which is the monster within - wanting to be good at something or wanting to be known for being good. Anyhow, Merry Christmas! Did you have fun at out_of_the_grey 's party? Quite cosy right? The christmas service was good too.

The greatest legacy one can give, is to give others an example of what it is to live. You might never catch the attention of millions, but it can transform the lives of people around you. To be able to celebrate life, inspite of the imperfections that we carry, that gives others a glimpse of heaven...
