Corporate Strategy

It has taken me 4 years to realise what matters is not the issue at hand but that the bosses feel good. Never mind about getting closer to the crux of the matter or elevating discussion to a higher level. These are just desired incidentals.

the true corporate strategist is one who is able to make the boss feel good and achieve the intended objectives or one who can get rid of the bosses and achieve the intended good objectives.

Also i find this a typically singaporean (asian?) problem. I find this issue of making the boss happy more with asian bosses than with western ones - though it exists with the latter too.

one reason why i try my best not to work with sporean bosses.

I wonder if intended good objectives is the goal of the game.

It might seem manipulative, but sometimes we have to "manage" our bosses... This might mean psyching them into thinking that what we have in mind, is actually their idea!
