That's so strange. Jack's quite good about getting away from people when he wants to... Jaffa, Generals, Daniel...

Seriously, though, upon re-read I think that Teal'c not moving is my favorite detail. He's a total shipper. :-)

*giggle* This was hilarious, and much appreciated.

Hammond glared up at the lean and grey-haired officer standing at attention before his desk. The words were everything he wanted and should expect to hear:

"Sir. I resisted. I attempted to remove Carter. I got - I tried very, very hard. I did not succeed, sir."

Still, the way in which O'Neill delivered the lines, not in his usual animated and outsized style, but with the subdued and deadpan delivery that Hammond usually associated with Sgt. Siler made the assertion somewhat less than convincing. Almost as unconvincing as his display of hand-to-hand self defense had been. Especially after it had degenerated into hand-to-hip...
