1. Started the new job two weeks ago. It's about a quarter of the size of my old store, and seems to have the work place enviroment of a circus. Which suits me completely fine - I'm working the same hours I was before, but instead of slaving myself all night I just fuck around till 11pm and go home

I'm still in Sydney. Still in the hole-in-the-wall apartment in Strathfield we picked out before you disappeared for a while.

Where abouts are you based now?

And I know what you mean about not being 'moved in' properly yet. Took us a fair while to get the essentials -- a fridge even. We got all our shitty furniture from family for free. It's ugly, but it serves its purpose.

I'm living in Padstow at the moment. Sydneys inner west. Nice suburb actually. Close to the station and all that. It's just a shame everything shuts so early. Also this is the only place I've ever lived that doesn't have an Indian resteraunt in walking distance.
Can't complain about the house much either. Three bedrooms, enormous loungeroom (which is barren), soon-to-be nice kitchen when the new stove arrives. The bathroom is a shithole though.
