I've begun to make plans to go back overseas for a proper stay. It'd help if I'd worked out a budget for it all of course, but I'm planning on leaving in August and I'm not exactly psychic. I'm playing around though with a 12k figure, which I think isn't too unreasonable. That however isn't factoring in things I'll want like a laptop, or anything ( Read more... )

Hello there! This is Arula btw. Anyways sounds like fun. So how come you want to live/work in Vancouver?

Well, the main reason I picked Vancouver is that it seems a nice city and I've got friends who live around there too.
The main reason I want to work abroad if thats what you ment, is that I figured working in a different country would be a lot more interesting than working where I live at the moment, and I only really have the oppotunity to do it now. I've got no career, no studies, no commitments - if I ever got one of those things later on I know I'd regret not working overseas before hand.
