On "Period" food and feast menus

This is a slight re-hash of some comments I made on another LJ.

Here's my rationale for thinking that period food and recipes are important and achievable at SCA feast.

*high five* And that comes from someone who because of non threatening but annoying issues can't eat a lot of food and elects to not eat meat ;)

I lack the practice of cooking for large numbers but I do appreciate the work that goes into canny planning of them.

Ah, the "cultivate vegetarian friends" style of feast eating. I'm familiar with it.

Lol. I'm a great fan of the 'get other people to eat my pie' approach to attending feasts. Have been known to badger people into it to save me from the temptation of the awefully yummy looking entirely dairy pie thing.
