It's funny. Now that I've discovered my allergy so many things make sense. I remember the doctor telling my Mom I was lactose intolerant...but I'd eat ice cream and other dairy products and feel just fine. Now I realize that it was the chocolate syrup I'd put in my milk that would do me in.
Do me in? Stomach aches, Lethargy, Low energy. Nothing major, but enough make me grumpy.
I'm definitely going to have my chocolate...just not as recklessly as before.
My only question now is the seasonal thing. I'll go months without a stomach ache...and then get them everyday. Now that I'm steering clear from chocolate and other caffeinated products...no stomach aches. Funny though...I have been getting lots of head aches. Whatever... pop an advil and call it a day.
Who knows...maybe there is a pill or shot for it...I'll ask my Doctor...then I'll have my chocolate cake and eat it too.

But to be allergic...to chocolate.
Hmmm.
Isn't there a shot or something you can take in order to indulge every once in awhile?
And what are your side effects?
Listen to me, I'm trying to pressure you into suffering for chocolate.
So what if I'd do it!
