I don't think I'm breaching confidentiality (given how many people tend to share a surname) by telling you that at Derbyshire Mental Health I saw files for service users named Mr Batty, Ms Daft, and Mr Nutty.

There was also a GP named Dr Pathy.

Ohhh, that's FUNNY. I told you that once I asked a patient whether he was playing with a full deck, yes?

. . . he was shuffling literally half a deck of cards at the time . . . oh, dear . . .

That's pretty funny :)
Hey, I got your message, and something about the topic of your thesis (if it was relayed to me correctly) - cool!!!

Very vaguely related: I'm related to Dr. Susan Love. Um. Kind of. Her partner and I are second cousins twice removed, or something like that. Are you doing anything with your subjects that could be connected with http://www.armyofwomen.org/ ? If so, there's a connection for you.

I hope all is going splendiferously.

So splendiferously! Hey, I bet I'm going to see you this weekend and Jodi and Jenn's party, too! Rob and I will both be there.

It's not very related to army of women things . . . I DID join, though!

I'd bet Dr. Love would be interested in your results. She seems to be pretty grass-roots in her extended research network. see www.dslrf.org

Glad things are going great. And yes, I hope to be at the party.
