Sparrington - Candlelight

Ahh...I seem to have gone on an art hiatus after my disgusting Body of Work for Art. I think I set a record for it, done in one day, when it's supposed to take a year.

Fandom: Pirates of the Carribean

Beautiful. Love Jack's face in particular, and all the implied-but-not-drawn details.

Well, I like it :) Very nice. The world needs more sparrington art. Now, how do you feel about writing your own (sparrington) epic to go with that drawing? ;D

Jack: It's getting dark.
James: Why yes it is.
Jack: How about we put away those nice, flashy cannons from your overweight ship. And maybe you and I could bring out the rum and maybe err...find something else to do?
James: Why yes. Yes we could.

And as they say, the rest was history.

XD

Ahaha! Cute? I'm the one who gives Nightmares nightmares. *you're making me blush*

Orientation: James is shooting cannons at the Pearl.
Complication: Jack doesn't want James shooting at his Pearl. He'd rather do #$@% with James.
Resolution: Jack steals James' heart.
Climax: That one speaks for itself...ok fine: Harder Sparr-UNHN!
Coda: And the fangirls lived happily ever after.

I hope people didn't notice the perverted crackling coming from me as I made this up...

Thank you!

It really looks great. (And not too dark, btw). I like Jack's chest in particular. No idea why, but I'm staring at it right now... O_O
...
Where was I?

It's accurate, unlike Hollywood's debased version (I mean they got Brad Pitt to play a guy who dies before his prime?)

True that, true that.

I would have mentioned my hatrid for Orlando Bloom as well, but I prefer to keep my life. (Oh well, I hate Paris anyway, so I suppose that works out, hate the character, hate the actor.) XP

I would've like Paris just fine if he'd gotten fucked in the ass by Achilles, instead of all the het crap going on. Which was probably the only part canon to Homer's original work, but whatever.

Moving on.

The pic is lovely, great delineation of muscles, etc. It's pretty light, actually, and could stand to be darker in some of the deeper shadows, like between the bodies. The area between Norrington's arm and Jack's crotch in particular needs some more definition. The line between light and shadow on James' side is gorgeous and you should give youself a cookie. :P

(here from Sparrington, btw.)

You're right; they want to ban the homoerotica? Then they shouldn't do a Homer-picturisation in the first place. XP

Followed from the Sparrington community. That's really pretty, I love that kind of use of shadow.

Mmmm very nice. ^^ I love the curve of James' back for some reason. Kind of gives it a cat-like appeal which is intersting since that phrase it more often than not used for Jack instead... that should change.... -will make it change-

Very well done. I'd love to see more from you... mostly because I believe we have a great shortage truely amazing Sparrington art work.
