no, just vegetarian, but i hardly EVER eat dairy. i only drink rice milk and i can't stand eggs. i still eat regular yogurt and occassionally cheese; however, i prefer vegan bakery over regular bakery -- it's sooo good.

p.s. i made the pancakes w/ a friend who's vegan.

OH YES. get some rice milk. it's MUCH better than soy milk. (in fact, it doesn't have much of a taste.) it's great for oatmeal and cereal. i generally buy rice dream, either original or vanilla.

as for the pancakes, we used a pre-packaged mix (my friend is also gluten-free). but it's easy to make your own. if you're looking for egg substitutes there are several different things you can use. we used ener-g egg replacer (it's a powder. you can get it at outpost.) i often will just use a mashed banana as an egg replacement. it works great. although, it obviously causes your pancakes to have a banana flavor. you can also use 1 tsp. ground flax seed (or flax oil) to 1 tbsp. water.

if you have other questions feel free to ask. i love talking about alternative recipes. :)
