Yay to new intimacy with God. Finally got around to downloading/reading the letters from Brother Lawrence (Practicing the Presence of God). My mom had told me about him years ago but now I'm finally working towards this.

Out of curiosity - how do YOU know when God is speaking to you?

Hmm good question. Honestly, I've always been good at hearing voices, so sometimes He uses clear, perfect English in my head. Other times it's like impressions upon my soul - images, emotions, and thoughts mixed together. Other times His rhema radiates from the Word. Other times it's just a deep peace that confirms something or tugs me in a particular direction. Does that answer your question or give you more? ;)
