Excitement, excitement! So it's less than 12 hours until I get my copy of Dead Ever After. Soon after I post this post (and reply to a PM that's been languishing) I'm going to turn off my computer so that it will be well rested for the big finale, and so that I can make sure my house is clean so that I can just read with no guilt.  The knot of

I've already told my loveable but stinky son I will be unavailable for chauffeuring duties for the next 48hrs (power read-thru/then careful re-read) and do not care if he goes to school smelling like a wet emu:D

I cannot wait to come back here to discuss the book and our findings (I caint shake you grad school lol) in relative sanity. I had to delete a certain SVM fansite who must not be named cus they was talking shit about you. I know you don't give a rat's ass but it upset me (Virgos are a loyal bunch).

My darling teens got grunted at for once in their lives, so I feel that it was nice reversal of roles.

No rat's arse given, true. It's the fact that the rest of the discussion is pretty poor that's the real shame. So many people *want* to discuss more, and they gotta come here. Fangirls should be ashamed at their lack of variety in discussion.

I'm completely buzzed, and have the audio version cued up to relive the moments again and again!

I can't wait to read it! Even with all the spoilers. I want to know how it all comes about. I just can't believe it's finely going to happen. The only thing that sucks is I won't be able to read it till the evening. :(

The spoilers were right in the big things, but they gave it one hell of a spin towards justifying Eric. It's all in the text, but selective reading should have him back in his rightful Saintly place. *Sigh*.

That's so sad! I thought about getting the autographed linen bound edition, but I couldn't justify buying 4 versions of the same book (ebook, hardcover and audible are the first 3). Mr. Minty might colour my face in.

I'm in the processes of trying to read it. :) (I did get the autograph one, they didn't have it on display. Had to ask to go get one for me, for $18.00).

It's so hard to concentrate, In the boatyard nextdoor to me are crushing two house boats. The whole house is shaking and it's really really loud.
I did see the linen bound black edition. It wouldn't match the other covers. LOL Enjoy!!!

That's one of the crappy things about living in Australia. I've got no hopes they have one out the back. But that's okay.

Oh that's worse than errant teen boys running around wanting attention - which is the only hindrance. And a couple of questions from Mr. Minty, said in a tentative manner. :D

As for the books I swear on that iBooks has the book lowered by a dollar or two. Maybe just me not paying attention. Plus I think I get a release time earlier then midnight in the US. It's happened to me a few times! Hope that happens.

That's what most hubbys say - all this sort of stuff. I just happened to write it down.

My midnight release *didn't* come on time. I had to refresh like a woman possessed until 3am, which is when I finally got it. Phew!

Looks like I might have to buy this copy. Being a latecomer to the series, I was able to borrow from the library, good on the wallet, but did mean I have only read them once.

Was hoping they bring out a box set so I can buy the lot, hmmm maybe I should just buy the e-version and kick the kids of the tablet for a few days.

I have had my thoughts about the spoilers etc, but really too late to post them now!

I think it's well worth it. Despite all reports that she'd dropped the ball on it, I think if you're not an Eric/Bill fangirl, you should like this book as much as the others. It was good for me.

I got the boxed set with 8 - and then had to buy the non-TB version of DUD. I think over time, I've had at least 4-5 copies of each damn book, in all kinds of ebook, audio, hardcover etc. Not particularly economical. :D

Stayed up half the night, waiting for the book. It did not turn up at midnight Scandinavian time. Nor midnight UK time. Nor an hour or two later. Then I gave up. At seven, when I woke up, it was there on my iPad but now I`m at a meeting all day and can`t read :-(

I am far more persistent, and refreshed until 3am AEST, when it showed up. Lol. I feel like crap, and tired, running on adrenaline, but I happily didn't fall asleep while reading it. Always an indicator of exciting goodness, if nothing else. :D

Wuuuuuuut! It didn't download for me until 3pm the next day!! I even tried to repurchase. But it was really good I loved it! Now I'm off to the next post so I can squee some!
