I mailed a package full of clothes and birthday presents for Adara today. I sent it priority so it should get there before Adara's birthday

One thing I'm doing is collecting some stuff to send at Christmas. My mom suggested it, because while a lot of people are sending help to evacuees and victims now, the help may slow up and Christmas is going to be tough for anyone affected. I've mailed some stuff too, stuff for Adara and for Destin, but I thought I'd pass the suggestion along. Cause their Christmas (and D's birthday) should be a happy one (or at least not completely miserable), despite what's happened. *snugs*

I've been thinking about that, too (re: Christmas)... I'm probably going to put a box in my closet and slowly fill it up over the next few months.

Good idea. I hope o be moving in about a month, so I probably won't start until then but you're right, it'll be easier to afford all stretched out like that.

Yeah... I just figure that way, I'll be able to not only afford it easier, but actually get some things they'll like. :)
