I just have to say -- this movie was awesome. Awesome awesome awesome!!!

Mum and I watched the dvd tonight. We were both mesmerized. It was fabulous. Stuck to the book like glue, it did!!

But we both agreed, if you haven't read the book, you'd be lost watching this movie.

SO.

Read the book and then watch this awesome movie!!!

What did you think about having read the book first? Do you think it would've been confusing otherwise?

And can you believe all the hoo-haw about that rape scene? It wasn't graphic at all! I was more horrified by the beating that poor kid took to his stomach and kidneys!! Rotten kids!
