Hashbrown changes

I am obsessed with boxed hashbrowns by betty crocker. I went to get some the other day due to a craving. And I noticed that my normal hashbrown product is now made restaurant style. I have the same sad feelings ... I *loved* the BC hash browns. Then... they were gone. For a long while there was no substitute. But now, quite by accident, I have found a nearly perfect substitute. Costco (at least around San Diego) sells these little milk-carton boxes (think back to your school lunch) that can come about 90% of the way or better. They're labeled as "golden grill russet premium hashbrown potatoes". The side says "produced and guaranteed by Basic American Foods, Walnut Creek, CA 94597 ( ... )

Not anymore!!! they discontinued....I can't remember the name of the product that Costco discontinue...can anyone help me?

I just bought the hashbrowns at costco. they are called "golden grill russet premium hashbrown potatoes". The phone # is 1-800-722-2084. it says to call or visit baf.com. The link seems to be broken but type in the above name. You can order products from them or get recipes. Enjoy

i think its stupid to take them away. my boyfriend loves those potatoes and we can't find them anywhere.
