Esther is a sweet, sweet girl. She and Kaname shared a room while she was still at the hostel, and that's where they hit it off. Kaname can't really think of a single thing about her she doesn't like. She's nice, well-mannered, and very easy to talk to. They haven't seen as much of each other as of late, but Kaname would love to catch up with one of the few sane people the island has to offer.

If there was ever an awkward way to meet someone...it was with Ashton. He responded to a "WTF" post of hers on the network where she has gotten trapped in one of Sousuke's latent security measures. After cutting her down from the ceiling, he got a panty shot, and Kaname wasn't entirely willing to talk to him at first. But after then, she's realized he really is a nice guy with good intentions--imagine that! So, she can appreciate that. He's helped her out with her collar once, one of the few other people she has trusted with that.

Leon...is a nice guy. He's a little derp, but a nice guy. There's some sort of weird level he and Sousuke communicate on, but it's good to have someone to distract Sousuke around every once in a while. He's always willing to help out (or maybe she's a little forceful sometimes) and she can leave him on Sousuke babysitting duty for a night. Sometimes. Other times things go awry, but poor Leon always suffers the consequences. She was admittedly sad when he left, because she did like him, but now that he's back, she's determined to help him adjust.
