The night's so unexpectedly cold that I've shut all the windows and am hiding in a tune from the 16th century.  Some nights are like that.

If you want to hear a somewhat bizarre rendering of La Folia, check out Atrium Musicae's. This is the first track -- they do an entire album like this, with each variation being successively stranger, though not unpleasant to listen to.

I was very sad to hear of Savall's wife passing away last year -- she was probably my favorite vocalist.
